Fluid Management is a profitable and important Strategic Business Unit of Ingersoll Rand's Industrial Technologies Sector. There is an immediate opening for the role of North America - National Industrial Supply (NIS) Fluid Management Channel Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales growth and business development activities with National Industrial Supply (NIS) accounts for Fluid Management (SBU). Candidates must also establish oneself as the significant point of contact for each North America NIS account including, Fluids Product Category Management and other support teams specific to ARO Fluids Products. Candidates must also develop strategic working relationship and coordinate efforts with principal (NIS) Sales Management Team to insure overall "Industrial Sector" alignment at each strategic account. The duties of this roll are clearly centered on NIS business development with key accounts and providing disruptive growth of Fluids (SBU) revenue.
Manage NIS key account network to provide YOY Fluids portfolio sales growth.
Partner with Ingersoll Rand's corporate NIS account leader to ensure Fluid Management business unit actions are aligned with the interests of Ingersoll Rand across all the business.
Formulate business strategies and implement strategic and individual account plans to grow overall sales revenue and market share with NIS accounts.
Collect and report trends and strategies of competitors to sales leadership and management.
Coordinate with marketing or other business unit resources as necessary to resolve problems involving pricing, product specifications, and warranties as required.
Lead Contract Negotiation's including Price, Terms, MDF terms
Differentiate all ARO products from competition utilizing product and non-product factors.
Engage with Americas Marketing and Product Management teams to manage promotional programs through the channel and implement product positioning enhancements. Enhancement of end customer experience and the ARO product selection process.
Coordinate the implementation of NIS performance improvement programs.
Product rationalization and additions (annual review)
Take an active role in training and providing product support to NIS sales personnel for all ARO products and services.
Communicate first line support structure. "Who to contact" For Customer Service and Technical support.
Provide or facilitate field support for NIS customers
Actively seek, conduct, and participate in both formal and informal training opportunities.
Deliver sales workshops as needed to demonstrate product and service capabilities.
Manage conflict within the NIS channel and other ARO channels by working with Specialty Distribution account leaders and managers.
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.
Preferred minimum of three (3) years fluid handling sales experience, working for a manufacturer or distributor in the pump industry.
Demonstrate an understanding of key NIS account business drivers with an understanding of end user relationships.
Candidates must be proficiently knowledgeable of technical products offered to this channel (Air-Operated Diaphragm and Piston Pumps / Fluid Power products) and be able to provide market positioning guidance.
Knowledge of National Industrial Supply account functions and end user selling experience required.
Candidates must live near a major airport, high travel required.
Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
DUI in the previous 5 years
Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Ability to prioritize and work the necessary hours to effectively execute the job responsibilities.

Proficient in computer related skills; Microsoft Office applications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
