PPG Specialized Office LPN or Medical Assistant
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus.
SummaryResponsible for assisting Physicians with care and assessment of all age groups within the Standard of Care set by Parkview Health System and Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
EducationMust be a graduate of a school of nursing.
Must complete General Orientation, Patient Care Orientation, and PPG practice orientation as provided and required.
Licensure/CertificationMust have current state Licensed Practice Nurse license.
Must have current CPR certification.
Additional certifications may be required for specific areas.
ORMust be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through American Medical Technologists (AMT) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through National Health career Association (NHA) or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) through American Medical Certification Association (AMCA).
CPR required.
Other QualificationsMust have sufficient previous clinical experience (during training) in area of assignment.
Demonstrate experience in customer service, establishing priorities, and working independently.
Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
